Hello

I'm fairly new to blackberry's and got a cheap 8700v to start off. I unlocked it and removed the BES, but now the blackberry app store website says that it contains no apps which support my device. The only thing that i can think of is that it recognises my bb as an 8700, not an 8700v. The list of supported devices lists all of the different brands, like v, g ...

How can i use my pc to download apps to my phone if it says they don't support it? all of the other specs are fine! The only way i've been doing it is via the dm, but i cant find the .zip's for all of what i want. Also, OTA isn't an option at the moment because my BIS isn't active yet!
