    Default News app- in Canada?

    hey guys,

the Globe and Mail app has recently become "paid", and I was wondering what news app you all use and can recommend. Im from Canada so one with Canadian news would be preferable. I also like World news, so ive just been using the BBC mobile site for that. any suggestions?

I use BlackBerry News to get all the sites I read into one place (even non-news sites like Failblog and FML). I don't read Globe and Mail but just about every news site should have an RSS feed for their most popular sections - local, world, business, etc.

I switched to the National Post. I don't know if they have an app. I just use their mobile site.

I use the BB News feed as well. I can filter what feeds I want, and it gives you a quick shot of the news flash, and you can click the link to read more if interested. I also use the CBC app sometimes.

BB News all the way. RSS feeds are quick and to the point. And if you want to read the whole article it will take you directly to the site.
    Too easy!

Updating does take a while but that's due to having to connect to all the different sites rather than eating up data.

It really shouldn't use up that much data. It is only updating a paragraph or so per feed. I have over 20 feeds, set to update every 30 minutes. I have never once gone over my 500mb data limit, and that's with everything else I do throughout the month.
