When installing a new or updated version of an App (i.e. UberTwitter), should you delete the old one first?

Normally if there is an upgrade to a certain app, you don't have to delete the old version. The new one will automatically replace it on its own.

When you download the new version it will say that it found an app with the same name and give you the old version number... then you can say Yes to replace it with the new version number, or No which will stop the install.
