First Beta release for Magic Berry (IPD Parser) for Blackberry DB ver.2

The program will parse the Blackberry raw database and for:
SMS Messages.
Address Book
Address Book - All (all entries)
Memos
Tasks

Currently the software support English & Arabic only, the final release will include:
Export to many format (Word, Excel, text...)
Ability to edit IPD file and upload back to the phone.

This version is for test so I am still developing the pricing scheme starting from Free license to $xx for the full version.

For the TABCTL32.OCX I have uploaded the installer. You can download it from here menastep.com/MagicBerry.rar
(RAR archive so extract and install from setup.exe).

For the service book, the next version has the it opened (already developed), but editing will be included in the full version.
I think you are looking for editing more than opening the SB so let us first test this first for all kind of IPDs then I will upload the one with SB opened (one by one)

That installed v1.0.0 correctly. I can open a .IDP backup, but there is no content. Everything reports 0.

I tried to execute the beta v2 again, but it just opens the existing v1.

It will display nothing if you the file doesn't contains the above DB. Also it work for IPD ver.2 ONLY

I do not use SMS at all, there is nothing in that database. There are address book contacts and memos database entries.

Good luck with the development, it could be a very useful utility.

I just downloaded the beta program, but can't figure out where the data is being exported to, either in text or csv format. It doesn't give me an option if I want to change where the report is being saved to and it doesn't tell me where the default location is either. Can you tell me?
