i am a blackberry user for over 4 years now. I have been loyal but with everything that has been coming out i am afraid im missing the boat on apps. I have seen some big things that could be on the horizon for blackberry phones and their developers. in the next 2 weeks i will either be purchasing a torch, a droid, or an iphone4. please someone convince me that blackberry apps will be comparable if not (dare i say) exceed those of the other popular pdas. any thought would be appreciated.

I'm not sure what kind fo convincing you're looking for. The app market for BB is growing daily (and rumor has it that they're going to drop submission fees for a limited time, which will help it even further). There are a ton of good apps, and a ton of bad apps - same as for any platform.
