New BB User, new 9700, app/battery life question
I've had my Bold for a week now, and love this phone.
Coming from an Omnia, I'm blown away by how well everything just, well, works.
For the first charge, I had no problem getting 2 days of use with plenty left at the end of day 2.
I then installed Weathereye. I also changed the application center to auto-refresh.
Next couple of days I could only get a single day of use on a charge.
Last night I uninstalled Weathereye, and turned the app refresh off again.
Overnight charge and now very late in the evening I still have 85% remaining.
Thoughts on which may have been the cause or how to maintain this level or performance when using apps?

Of course that in time, with more and more apps using the internet&memory, the energy level is decreasing faster. 2 days is more than OK as life-time. Try to make Weather Eye refresh at 2 hours(less energy consumption) or replace it with BeWeather (also free in App World).
