Was requested by my friend a little while ago, and I finally got around to writing it. The idea behind the game is much like that of Lunar Lander, and old DOS game from when I was a kid.
The game contains the following features:
- Rolling acceleration (holding down controls)
- Vibration Controls
- Free play mode (randomly select and generate levels)
- Level play mode (10 increasingly difficult levels)
- Levels are made up of planets from our solar system, except the last three, Haley's Comet, An Imperial Star Destroyer, and Earth -Meteor Shower
- Variable terrains that are all randomly generated (for each level)
- Variable gravitational forces per each planet
- Advanced & Beginner game modes
- Additional overspeed effects when your decent is too fast
- Crash landing effects
- As levels progress, the landing zones get smaller
- and a couple other neat items you are just going to have to experience yourself.
A quote from my friend, "This game is easy to learn, different every time you pick it up, and always hard to put down."
My BB friendly site is hosting the trial. The trial lets you play the first level as many times as you want, but is nowhere near as hard as the later levels in the game.
really, to tell everyone the truth, this game is really easy on beginner, and really hard on advanced. I just played it through several times, and advanced is nearly impossible.
Storm Warning, looks like i'll have to develop any app you request now...
Haha nice. I'm gonna hold you to this quote! Something tells me that you would have zero problems creating any app you wanted though. Very talented and skillfull!
Great game! I'm an old guy who used to play the original B&W version at a video arcade in San Francisco, on Broadway next to Mabuhay Gardens, with Klaus Fluoride, the bass player from the Dead Kennedys.

Ok after playing with it for a little while, the only suggestion I would make is to have the engine spool up a bit. It's kind of hard to control because one tap is really delivering a lot of thrust.
Aside from that I love it!
Edit: One other minor thing: How about an option to turn off the vibration? It would make it more "office" friendly.

Okay, I am working on a new release. When it is done, it will incorporate these new items. I will give out an email address to reach me so you can forward your confirmation email and I will send you the link to download a new version.
