LoneWorker is a safety device for people who are working alone in dangerous environments.

Lone workers should not be at any more risk than other employees. This requires extra risk-control measures to be taken.

What happens if the person becomes ill, has an accident or there is an emergency and they are unable to summon help for themselves?

LoneWorker for BlackBerry is a low-cost, fully featured application to fulfil this requirement.

How it works:

� After installing the application, press the menu key and select �Settings�
� Select the time delay between reminders
� Select emergency contact type (SMS, Email, Phone or All)
� Enter the emergency contact number
� Enter the emergency email address (if required)
� Enter the message to be sent when triggered
� Select sound profile (silent or audible alert)
� Select GPS position reporting on or off
� Select coordinate type (Lat/Long or British NGR)
� Press �Save� and �Return�
� A countdown timer will start
� After the designated time an alarm will sound and you have 30 seconds to press �Reset�
� Press �Reset� and the countdown timer will restart
� If you do not or are unable to press reset, the selected emergency contact method will be initiated
� The designated person will come to your aid

Requires a BlackBerry SmartPhone running OS5 or OS6 with a SD Card installed (OS7 coming soon)

Please note: GPS requires you to be outside, with a clear view of the sky in order to report your position. If you are using LoneWorker inside a building it is recommended that you select the �GPS off� option in settings.

My mistake, I misunderstood what the app does. That actually is pretty nifty.
