I had Poynt 1.6 (I think it was 1.6.0.71) running perfectly fine on my Torch 9800, and then I installed the new 1.7.0.47 version but it won't work at all. It simply shows a java NullPointerException and that's it. I've tried deleting, reinstalling, battery pull etc. to no avail.

So, is there anyone out there that has a 1.6 version install file? I'd much rather have a working backlevel app than a non-working up to date app...

Poynt 1.7.0.47 does work on my Torch. I think you have other problems that need to be looked into.

I've used Poynt 1.7.0.47 and used it without issue on my 9800 running 6.0.0.337 and also on my 9780 using 6.0.0.359.
