    I don't understand why there isn't one in development. I'll pay for it for sure... and I know quite a few others who will as well.

    i think you can use BBM! it is really best app for connect with your friend safe and fast.

    Well, yeah, of course. But I want to join chat rooms on an IRC server to communicate with people who don't have BBM.

    Although I am grateful to the author for creating a small free solution to access IRC, I'm looking for something more feature rich and stable.
