I have a T-Mobile Curve 8320 on the AT&T Network. The phone is mine, but the network is AT&T because my company pays for my phone and that is what they use. They give me a cheapy flip-phone to use, so I simply took the SIM out and put it in this BB. I have an internet plan, but no BB or BES plan.

I've read online that I should be able to go into the Setup Wizard, choose Email, then other, and setup POP email this way. I do not have this menu in the setup wizard. My goes Wizard->Email Setup->Would you like to configure a corporate BES server OR would you like to skip setup? If I choose skip, it exits the wizard.

Is there a way to do this without a 3rd party app? Or should I just go buy one?

With BB phone, you have to have a BB plan.

Yeah, you will not get the Personal Email Setup option without a BlackBerry Data Plan.

You absolutely need a Blackberry Data Plan. You cannot use one of those "internet plans" for the regular phones as your Blackberry's data.
