    Hello everyone,
For the last several years I have been paying AT&T a data plan for an arm and a leg I had opera mini for about a month now but recently I heard that with Opera mini you can browse the internet for free. This can be done by adjusting certain settings inside my phone. Is this true? need some knowledge on this cause I would rather use that data plan money on my kids.

    Thanks

In the Opera settings there is a choice for wifi - which I always assumed was for when you wanted to avoid use over your data plan. Is it possible this can be set to use Opera over wifi with no data?

Opera mini has is capable of wifi, which the 8300 is NOT wifi capable, sorry. The new Bold is wifi capable. Even if you buy the Bold, and you choose to cancel the data plan and just use wifi where available, be very very careful. Make certain you change the settings in the browser to use wifi only. If you don't, you will use data access and could very easily have a thousand dollar phone bill. I have the 8310 curve and will get the bold next. I'm just waiting for a good deal on one.
