I'm itching for something new for my BB, but I don't want to drop a bunch of $$$ into something I might not like. Anyone have an app that they just can't live without? I have WeatherBug, SocialScope, Facebook. Anything cool out there?

What about FreeBooks??? Anyone like that one?

Look in BlackBerry App world for free apps as well.

Keep in mind that many apps have a free trial so you can use them for free while you decide.

BerryAnnoying works perfectly on the Tour.

BerryBuzz is useful!

BerryBuzz extends your default Blackberry alert system. BerryBuzz allows you to customize the LED color and create repeating audible reminders for many alert types.

It will repeat alerts until acknowledged so you will never miss an alert again.

These paid apps both have free trials.

How about Quick Launch? I've heard good things but is it really worth it?

Also, I'm currently using Opera Mini (every now and then), is Bolt Browser better or about the same?

Thanks Kissmekate for starting this thread. Tripster and Chrissy, I'm going to try Maratick and BBNotepad to see which I like best. I use Poynt and GoogleMaps, if you're into sports I highly recommend ScoreMobile, by far the best app and believe it or not it's FREE.

@sdnberry86 i have both Opera Mini and Bolt browser. i prefer Bolt by far. It seems to load faster, with less errors, and the scrolling is quicker.

The only time i use Opera Mini is if i need to have more than one web page open at a time. Sort of like tabbed browsing.

i agree 100%... excpet its on my left key button ... QL makes it 'easier' to get through to your App in ANY screen.. its really effecient..

You could try out our free version of Color ID. It has no trial period, so use it as long as you like. It's handy for screening your messages just by looking at the LED colors:

Thanks guys. $5 for the QL app isn't really that bad so that's definitely on my buy list

I had Opera on my laptop and liked it ok, going to switch to Bolt today. Opera Mini is slow on my Curve, the BB web browser is faster than that! No need for multiple pages up so Bolt here I come!

Successfully switched to Bolt Browser today and so far so good. I must admit Opera Mini was "prettier", however it was slow. Bolt isn't FAST but it IS significantly faster than Opera. Thanks for suggestions, this thread has been very useful!

Another vote for Quick Launch; best $5.00 I ever spent. It is my most used app, and the only paid app I own. Second most used is Quick Pull...runs every night.
