09-09-11 10:46 PMLike 0 - Most useful apps:
FACELOCK by ajani infotech (TO stop accidentally touching screen buttons While on Call)
Documents to Go (came with my phone but VERY useful for opening every kind of doc)
SugarSync app (5 gig on the cloud for free...had to do it)--setup account from PC or mac first
ExtraKeys (for three extra external app launch keys)
Quickpull (for those frequent battery pulls without pulling the battery)
Scanlife (for scanning most any barcode)
Garmin mobile using the bb 9780 build ('cause I need turn by turn directions)
Fixmo tools (I use the wifi connection to PC most but has many utilities)
slide Lock by Bulbera (stops accidental dialing on my blackberry touch screen)
Advanced OS and led (I like the color LED options)
BeWeather or Berry Weather (I like a pretty weather display -- works in conjunction with the Quickweather app
iNEW7 theme (app world is case sensitive so "iNEW7" by Walker (better looking and faster than stock os 7 theme)Last edited by tom0100; 06-10-12 at 12:12 PM.
05-31-12 07:40 AMLike 0 - I searched and couldn't find it already mentioned, so I will just say that Syncamatic has been absolutely delightful for me, since I refuse to use that half-baked excuse for a notes app called Evernote. It syncs more than just notes/memos, but that's all I need it for. There is a monthly fee to sync your MemoPad to your PC/Mac, but you only have to pay two bucks for the web sync version, and you can access all your notes, etc. from the browser. Works great!11-10-12 10:02 PMLike 0
- 20 apps In order of usefulness to me (excluding apps already installed such as calendar, mail, native browser etc.) -
1. Google Maps (how I go anywhere, pretty much)
2. Opera Mini (Stable browser + Opera Link)
3. Advanced OS & LED (LED changes + iLaunch + battery monitor + automatic device reboots)
4. WhatsApp (Practically everyone I know is on this now, unfortunately for BBM)
5. Facebook (app has come a long way)
6. Twitter (ditto)
7. Social Feeds (Great RSS reader, takes up minimal space)
8. Poynt (Local city companion - find restaurants, gas prices etc)
9. Globe & Mail Investor (How I check my stocks)
10. Vlingo premium (Used mostly while driving - make calls, send texts)
11. BlackBerry Travel (My go-to travel app. Check weather, currency exchange, flight status changes, hotel prices)
12. BlackBerry Traffic (Not bad for turn by turn navigation, but requires an exact address which I am not often able to provide)
13. DropBox (Cloud storage)
14. Documents-to-go
15. foursquare (fun to use, have run into friends before at check-ins. Sort of my social media fix until I get instagram or something)
16. Evernote (Probably should try to use this more)
17. Shazam Encore (What's that song??)
18. Photo Studio Editor (Used to apply filters before uploading)
19. Gmail app (Bit better for Gmail than the native messages app)
20. Blackberry Mobile Conferencing (Has come in handy for all the teleconferences I take)
Still have a few more that I use (LINE, Windows messenger, youtube, podcasts etc.) but not enough to be worth mentioning. Waiting for Viber for a truly quality VOIP app and I'm totally set until BB10 apps-wise.11-12-12 11:39 AMLike 0 - 20 apps In order of usefulness to me (excluding apps already installed such as calendar, mail, native browser etc.) -

You will need to have a BlackBerry Data Plan.05-30-13 04:12 PMLike 0
