    I bought my wife a Bold for Christmas and would like to copy some of my apps on her new Bold from my Tour. I have the Tour synched to my desktop via Blackberry desktop. I know you can switch devices, but unclear if I can just copy some apps to new Bold keeping my tour intact.

    Device Switch Wizard will not alter your Tour. What you have to consider is if any of your apps are registered by PIN they won't work for her.

    I would think if the phone (Bold) is active it would be easier to just download what you need and be done.

    Bbsak will also allow you to back up your apps and let you install them on the new device.
    But AG is right, in where he says download them on to her device once BIS is up and running.
    This will make sure her device gets the proper version installed to it, and if they need to be purchased they would be associated with her pin.
