How are you all getting more then just the 1 row of apps on the bottom of the home screen? Is this carrier OS specific or a certain hack? I've seen screens where people have apps running up and down the left or right side of the screen and what looks like the homescreen background actually being the calander or an active text conversation..how do you do this?

It is neither. It's the theme. Look up "L" theme (side and bottom),
"U" theme (both sides and bottom), etc...

That's one thing about my Curve I miss on my Bold, the menu screen where you could have all the icons on the front page.
