I have the Bold 9780. I like it. I also like the Torch and am considering looking to swap my 9780 for a Torch (via kijiji / craig's list). My question is - I bought Bold apps, many, I assume, won't work on the Torch. Can I download the Torch versions from my Appworld account without repaying?

I'd also appreciate any suggestions as to whether it's a good trade to make or not.

Sign in to your account and enter the new device information. You should get new versions. May take a day or so. I use MobiHand and all is smooth with the transfer. The same should hold for others, too. Good luck.

Any advice on whether I should try to trade? I like my 9780 but I have an upgrade due this summer and so think I could explore the novelty of the Torch with the safety net of a Dakota next Fall if I don't like it?
