Message Peek app always stays open even if I use the menu to close it. Anyone else notice this?

i am gonna guess that is because the way the developer wrote it, it always has to stay open in the background for the messages sms listener to stay active and react to an incoming text

I didn't notice this with berry popup

i dont think it is necessary for the application to stay open for an app like this to work, like berry popup, maybe just a development decision, or a possible workaround to an issue they were running into.
