    other than that you're not going to find a free one.

    No. Not a memory cleaner....I am looking for an application that tells me how much MB are left and things of that sort....

    Memory free is basically the "file free" number in your status screen. You don't need a separate app for that.

    If you want more details on your memory, the no-frills MemStats app that I wrote is pretty close to free at 99 cents.
