Anyone want to take a stab at building this with me?

    https://github.com/minego/macaw-enyo...0-webworks-sdk

Project Macaw is an awesome twitter client originally for webOS - looks like it has been reincarnated as Macaw-enyo, and can be built up into a few different forms, one of which seems to be bb10. I'm going to look around to see if all these tools are generally available, but if anyone figures this out I'd love to hear what it takes and how the results look!

I know someone who is running an alpha/beta build of Macaw .... if you follow me on twitter hit me up, or else PM me your twitter handle and I can hit up the guy working on it for ya (I think he's on vacation right now), it has some issues and is not complete, but there is a BAR out there.

I DM'd the cat a link to this thread, you can still follow me on twitter if you want though.

Cool I was hoping you'd see this - I tweeted (ugh, can't stand typing that word) minego yesterday and he mentioned it was possible. Did you build it yourself or just get a copy? It would be pretty awesome to be able to get it to build from source, but I'll have to hold off on messing with that till later when I'm not working.

I didn't build it (never have gotten to playing with Enyo code even though I keep saying I will), got DM back, he is on vacation until next week. Said he would check with Minego before giving out the BAR. This is another former webOS guy, I'm not sure if he tweaked the code at all for BB or not. I had initially asked Minego for his APK so I could convert it to BAR and he directed me to someone already working on a BAR. If all works well I figured you guys could get together and see where he's at. Just didn't want to distribute any work he may have done. Since the Enyo source is open source figure it can be tweaked to meet BB10 design standards.

I currently run a hybrid of native twitter, blaq, and some times Macaw. Don't expect it to be like how you know it from webOS, in my understanding there is something in the Enyo scroll that can make it choppy or lag. Apologies in advance if I misunderstood this, since I am no developer don't take my word as gospel on this one.

Hi, I did add the needed files to package Macaw Enyo to BB10. (I am the guy on vacation). If Micah (the leading developer of ProjectMacaw) is ok with it, I will help out with a bar. I don't remember if the licence allows distribution of a packaged app. Micah is working hard at the moment to finish it and get it into Firefox App market. I don't know if he is planning to release it as a free or paid app. He already has apps available for Playbook thus maybe Macaw Enyo might end up in the app world one day. Micah doesn't have a BB10 device to try and debug Macaw on it. If anyone here has friends at Blackberry Developer Relations, please help to hook him up with a DevAlpha or Z10.

Hi, I finally found some time to solve my problems with the SDK and package Project Macaw Enyo for BB10. But it is not really modified for BB10. Just a fast repackaging. Issues I found so far:

    • ADN doesn't work
    • Error message for twitter authorization (just wait, it disappears)
    • Image upload doesn't work
    • screen resize issues

I'll try to help out and tweak it to run nicely on BB10 as my limited time allows. For now you'll have to refresh manually. You can get it here:

    https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/...caw-device.bar

The app is under development and the main developer is Micah (http://www.minego.net/me/) @_minego on twitter. If anyone wants to help porting, you can get the source and maybe participate here: https://github.com/minego/macaw-enyo

    Have fun!

New leaked OS, time to load this and reload everything else. BB Link failed me hard last night.... might as well go all out.

    Hi,

I did package the app again recently. Micah made big steps ahead! I love the dark FireFoxOS theme and I plan to do a BB10 theme, when I find some free time for it. You can find the recent .bar on Mega

I also set up a BBM channel: C0016084

Many features still "ToDo / Port to BB10", i.e. Picture upload, auto refresh, keyboard popping up suddenly, share framework integration, but it is getting there! If a JS/Webworks-Developer wants to help out, you can find it on github: https://github.com/minego/macaw-enyo
