i coach a sports team for the local community. i am looking for a simple app that will allow me to write a cash receipt and email it.. should be easy right? i have benn looking all day and nothing. any advise? prefer free. thanks all.
not sure of an app, but you could send yourself an excel (.xls) template to your device... just modify it with docs to go, and forward it as an attachement to your "clients"
That was one method, but maybe unnecessarily complex. I have a possibility you can do without an app or having to import anything. For a simple receipt, an AutoText/Word Substitution can be created. Ex:
Farmville Little League
Receipt No _______ Date_________________
Purchased by:_________________
Amount:___________________
Reason or service_____________________
By:_______________________

Yes, all they'd have to do is compose an email. Type the Word Sub, fill in the blanks, send. No app to consume memory, and the form is just a few byte. They could even create and add an email address just to have the receipts not clutter up their personal email, it might make it even easier to manage.
