A verbal translator, or text? Helps to know which you are seeking. For text, I use Navita Translator. Haven't heard of a spoken translator, though.

I'll add one more vote for Navita Translator. It's free and available in App World. Decent UI. Even an automatic setting to auto-detect the source language, which works most of the time in my experience.Saving the world, one OS at a time...
