I tried using Live Search for gps, but all I can get it to do is find the town I'm in. It doesn't find my exact location even when other gps programs are able to. If I tell it to start gps tracking, it does, but it's way off. It's supposed to use my internal gps (8330), or so I thought, but all it seems to do, I suspect, is use towers for triangulation. True?

I have found that periodically I need to go to Options, Advanced Options, GPS, hit Menu, Refresh GPS. Then Live Search will find my exact location - very accurately too.

Also - from within Live Search, hit Menu, Options, then click Configure, and select Blackberry GPS.

I have the 8330, and the Options are different. After going to gps and hitting Menu, there is no Refresh gps, but Device gps is already selected.
