I can't stand live search, but I would like to use it since it has the option to save search results into the addressbook. Why the **** doesn't google maps have this feature yet?

It's not the OS, it's Microsoft that needs to update the program.

from what i understand, live search won't work with .210 b/c it's a beta. i guess they have to update live search for each operating system, and they only update to officially released systems...so it'll work with .185 and i believe .190 now that it's official...hope that helps

(and yeah, i mean windows has to update their programming for each OS of blackberry)

Hopefully they update Live Search to work with the newer OS for BB.

I had .190 and it did not work with .190 either.

Worked on .185 just fine. Never worked on 190, 194, 201, and now 210 in my findings.

The only feature I love in Live Search is the map/GPS. It's more detailed, loads faster and looks cleaner than Google or BB maps. I also like how fast (mph) it shows you're going and the compass that points north.

The only thing I like about live search is where instead of typing your search, you can speak it. Good for when driving or when your hands are tied up.

It works up to 185. Anything beyond that will not work.

Try TellMe. It is a better looking app with great voice recognition and works perfectly on .210.

I think it uses the LiveSearch engine and has 80% of the functionality of WLS.

Does not save searches to a Favorites folder or Contacts, and you can't view directions on the map.

Edited to list the correct application name.

Once you go past .185 it stops working. BigHonu is right, TellMe is much better anyway
