Default [JiveTalk] Display Unread messages on home screen

Is there anyway to get JiveTalk to display your IMs as unread messages like BB Messenger does? Sometimes I see my red light blinking and it takes me a second to realize what it is because there is nothing visually displayed on my home screen.

I haven't seen the option for that. From my limited experience with the today theme, only blackberry apps are able to be used in on front of the theme.
