I've been having issues on my 8300 with official "____ for BlackBerry" apps, mainly Facebook and Twitter. When I attempt to log in, an error message always comes up. However when I use apps like UberTwitter and Gmail, they work seamlessly.

Another issue is saving pictures. I know for a fact that I have memory left, because I'm able to download apps. When I try to save a picture, it just says "file system full".

Help is much appreciated, you guys are awesome.

I believe apps are stored in the phones internal mem. and pictures are saved to the mem card

Tell your browser to go to the SD card.
It may help some.
