InstaPhoto is an app that mimics Instagram, but without the social connection. You can upload the photos to a few sites and email them, but not to a central site like Instagram.

I've email InstaPhoto's tech support about problems with a few of the filters (like the "dusk" filter); on the generated photos from InstaPhoto there are what looks like water trails on them. I know it's not my phone because the original picture does not have the "water trails" on it. The email was sent like 2 weeks ago, but I haven't heard anything from them yet.

In all, the app is ok, you'll just have to work around the filters that come out "stained"..

Molme is very similar!

i just downloaded it yesterday when i saw it on N4BB's blog...

it seems okay ; > haven't extensively used it.. and i don't like how ur pictures are public and can't make them private..

although i dunno how instagram really works..

Try BibbyCam , a new application that has quite a number of filters and can be linked to Fb and Twitter. It's quite fun and fast..oh and it's free.
