How do you send message on skype?

Assuming you have added the account already, just click on the contact name.
One of my contacts came online and I can confirm that Skype messaging works and synchronises with my desktop Skype. Haven't tried calling yet.
EDIT: Looks like it only supports the Skype messaging protocol, no calling features yet. Unless someone can tell me how to call someone. - 08-01-2011, 11:26 PM #6

I was using 1.03 fine. But after upgrading to 1.04 (email from imo.im) having problems:
1. very hard to get connected to imo.im server
2. system hang
3. suspect high data access and battery usages.
so stay with 1.03
Anyway I have flashed my OS to #650 and will try again later. - 08-28-2011, 05:55 PM #22
Anyone else confirm the high battery usage? Wondering if it's higher than the Google Talk app from RIM...

i sent feedback through the App, but I am not getting sound notifications since 1.0.4 and this App really needs PUSH!
Love the App and hope they also make a Playbook version!HTC Titan - WP Mango

Me also very excited IMO.IM, as it is my preferred app on iOS and Android for Skype and Google chat, came to BlackBerry and hoping to see it soon on PlayBook.
Hoping the guys at IMO will get final release soon and will offer push as well. - 08-29-2011, 12:43 PM #25
If im only connected via Cell service, my connection arrows are CONSTANTLY going (only with this App open), so I would assume this App would absolutely kill my battery in a couple hours. Strange that on Wifi this doesn't happen...
I really want to use this App, but it still needs some work. Trying to convince my iOS/Android friends to use this and lower their text plans. The BB App seems furthest behind, it seems.HTC Titan - WP Mango

Finally a free Skype client? I've just installed it; Skype contacts show up but they're all offline (sleeping) so I can't test yet.
