I just downloaded the 5.0 OS for my Verizon Tour and tried playing iheartradio. However, after a few seconds it failed to connect. I tried a couple of times to try and connect but it still didn't work. Is it because iheartradio doesn't work with the new 5.0 OS? Need some answers please? any info is much appreciated. thank you much!

I can't provide any help but I'll bump your thread. I'm having the exact problem, just updated my Tour to 5.0, app installs and loads but when trying to connect to any station it just buffers then stops.

Ditto it's a real hit or miss as far as the connections working right now. Im using yourmuze.fm for the time being.

I got some stations to work. Its definitely hit or miss but I hope something gets fixed soon on this. I kind of like 5.0 but if this and the no video on my slingplayer mobile doesn't get "fixed" soon - I'm downgrading back to 4.7

Same problem here. It takes MULTIPLE tries to get a station to play.

Just for kicks, I downgraded to the beta app to see if that would make any difference, nope. Same problem.

This is a dealbreaker on 5.0 for me, the iHeart app is one of my most used apps- if there's not a fix soon I'm going to have to go back to 4.7.

I was having the same problem with my 9550 running 5.0.0.607. Try changing the permissions for the app to "allow" for all options. Worked for me.

Edit: Nevermind, it worked once after I changed the permissions, but stopped working after I tried it again...

The "fix" that worked for me was to downgrade to the Sprint .484.
