hey all...i have the storm for verizon...and i dont like this slacker radio app nor VVM or the "my verizon" basically i want to delete the "unnecessary" apps(IM and whatnot)...i tried to delete them from the phone in the options>advanced>apps nothing there.. also tried to delete them by just highlighting them on the homescreen and hitting menu (the dots ) and delete...but no gusto...any help would be awesome...oh yea..i cant delete them from the DM either..but i am on a mac...so i dont know if that has anything to do with it?

they are only short cuts from service book. just hide them

Yup, as matt said they are only shortcuts, nothing is installed on your device. The only thing you can really do is hide them by touching the icon>bb button>hide.

Besides, in the new 5.0 O/S, the apps are no longer listed in Options/Advanced/Apps. They are simply listed in Options/Applications under 3 headers: 1)3rd Party 2)Add-On and 3)Core
