I got Windows Live Messenger to install and run on Sprint Curve 8330. I was able to download someone elses Rogers service books and then resend my Sprint Service Books and I was successfull. If anyone on Sprint wants to find out how I did it, PM me and i'll let you know what I did so you can also start using Windows Live Messenger.

Sounds like the same process used for the AT&T Yahoo workaround...
T-Mobile's Curve has it and it is great. I use it to talk to my gf while she is at work, it is a lot easier for her and works a lot like BB messenger. It is also extremely fast over WiFi.
Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support Windows Live Messenger.
I was getting the same message, but after i added a hotmail email account, a home screen icon appeared that took me to the download page, and i was able to download and run it just fine.

I've always had hotmail accounts on my bb, still no luck for me. Do I need to add another? I already have THREE!

That OZ is crap and it uses txt vs data. And you still hafta log out of one to use the other.
