I'm on BBM 8 Beta on the 9780. I've subscribed to a couple of channels but would love to know how I can stop these channels from sending notifications to my homescreen. They are a bit annoying. Is there a way to turn off BBM Channel notifications?

All you have to do is - Go into Channels, go down and choose and click to go into the subscription you don't want updates from, click Blackberry symbol/options on your Blackberry, then View Channel info, You will see Show Channel Activity in Updates with a drop box, just click No and your good to go, no more updates from the Channels you subscribe too, if you still see notifications on your home screen, click on each notification to clear them, and after that if needed, try rebooting with as Channels are still in beta, hope that helps, ► J

Sorry I had to edit that info above, try it now, worked for me, maybe try rebooting after changing options, as Channels are still in beta, hope that helps, ► J
