I have 26 on my 8330 Curve and use 11 consistently. Only 13mb free though. I'm getting ready to delete PeekAWho, although I love it, because that seems to be the app sucking my memory. I start out every morning with about 28mb. I get a LOT of popups throughout the day.

Jesus! You must've deleted 75% of your stock applications!
Not really. Just the languages other than English and Spanish, Brickbreaker
and every other game. They all stink so that's nothing I miss.
Memo Pad (replaced with BBNotepad), non English / Latin fonts, all themes
other the the default Zen theme, preloaded wallpaper and videos and other
useless (to me stuff). Work from the Java folder and you will get better
results than any "clean-up" app.

My estimation is I left in place 75%.
I thought that you had to keep Memo Pad in order for BBNotepad to work! I'm still a newbie I was just wondering.

Nope. It completely replaces it. Works much better in that it can read
.txt files and allows you to save memos to the memory card whereas Memo
Pad requires they be in device memory. I have hundreds of theses thing so
it really works well for me.

Wow. I didn't realize you all really use all that stuff. Of course, maybe I should have specificed "useful" but that's rather subjective. I suppose I just find those handful of apps that really make my Berry useful. The rest would just get in the way. Does that mean all you people alsohave tons of useless stuff on your computers???? I don't do that either. Just not a pack rat I guess.

I took everything that I found useless off my PC.
Unfortunately, the vendor apps get pushed from the vendor on the Blackberry. Otherwise, all the AT&T stuff would be gone. I have no choice but to hide that stuff.
It is much easier to simply delete the vendor installed junk on a PC.

Every one of the 42 apps I have I use constantly, most on a daily basis.
If I didn't find them useful they wouldn't be on my phone.

in order of frequency used
and 2 themes i max out at 122MB and float down to about 110 mostly.
One thing often forgotten about the Iphone is that the Ipod Touch uses the same software OS, so if you count the Touch users, then yeah, you can have a lot of apps. I have 112 apps on my iPod Touch. My brother has an Iphone and doesn't even come close to that many apps. So, the Iphone app store isn't necessarily for the Iphone user, but for the Ipod Touch user, IMHO. Clever marketing on Apple's part to have the Ipod Touch use the Iphone software, so that all the apps count as Iphone apps!
As for the Blackberry, I am at 46 apps and counting!
How can you get so many apps on your Storm I'm at about 13 and only have about 10 mb left in my mem please help
