word 2007 uses the file extension .docx and all previous use .doc. you need to save the document in .doc before you send to blackberry,

the preloaded docs2go does not support office 2007. you need to register docs2go and update to version 1.005 (35) at dataviz.com

The premium edition of D2G readily opens Office 2007 documents. I gave dataviz just over $50 for a really smooth ride. Hat's off ! I can read my Storm pdf manual ... on my Storm with its PDF To Go. I figured that any company that got its wares on the first issue of Storm can't be all that bad. A pleasant relief from my past experiences with CrapWare from other companies !
