I have BBM 5.0. And I'm just trying to learn new things. I understand that you can use QR codes to invoke other actions from your phone. My question is, how do I use the QR reader to capture a code to, say, visit a certain webpage?
Its pretty easy. Go into bbm. Go to the add new contact option. Once there, it'll give you an option to scan a friend code (or something like that, I haven't used bbm5 in a while.) That will activate the camera. Just center the QR code in the screen and watch the magic happen!
you need to use BBM 5.0 and when you invite contact you can enter the pin code manually or scan a bar code. You just have to scan a code bar from anywhere to use it.
