    Is there anyway to have a sound or vibrate for an incoming IM. I have looked around and can't seem to find that option. So I just have to keep looking at my Blackberry to see if I got a reply.

    Yes!!!

    You have to go into whatever active profile you are using at the time and set the tone/vibrate that you want.

    They have options for Buddy Pounce, New IM while active or Idle, and Sound for Sent IM

    Thats to set an alert anytime one of your buddys sign on.

    With the buddy highlighted click the menu button.

    You can set a one time pounce or permanent pounce.
