I have Recently brought a new blackberry curve 9300 battery, after my old one had become swollen. however, as all people with blackberrys know, when putting in a battery, it reboots the phone, but this battery is brand new and doesn't have any charge in it. so i cant charge it. what shall i do. many thanks.

Put the battery in the phone and put the phone on a charger. It'll be fine.

It sounds like you have a defective or counterfeit battery. If you bought it at a local store, you could have returned it if you hadn't waited so long. At this point, about all you can do is try another battery.

Did you align the contacts properly? I am speaking from experience....LOL
