My phone keeps telling me my memory is low, but I have a 8g memory card. I wanted to know how I can make sure everything is saved on the memory card instead of the device memory.
You cannot save applications on to the memory card, by default. There are some 3rd party application which allows apps to be installed on the memory card. I have never tried one.
Check your free application memory. Menu - Options - Status - File Free. You should have atleast 12-14 mb free memory for the device to perform smoothly.
Try pulling your battery...that usually frees some memory...you can't store apps on your memory card so if you have a ton of apps this might be your problem

You can't download apps to your memory card, they can only run / be installed on your device itself.
The only thing the memory card can do is store files (such as mp3s, documents, etc). There is a way to "archive" apps on your memory card, through the BB AppWorld, but if they're archived, you can't use them (at least, that's my understanding of it).
How many apps do you have installed, that your phone is warning you of low memory?
I haven't seen it done effectively yet, but Aerize Card Loader was successful at this only part of the time for me. For some reason some apps would still load to the device. Additionally, the app was released before Blackberry App World and when I contacted Aerize about compatibility with App World they said compatibility looked possible and would be a few weeks. Well, that was when App World dropped and how long has that been? I have yet to hear anything else from them and the app has not been updated to a new version yet. Take a look at Aerize Premium BlackBerry Software and Themes. If you haven't tried yet, the best option for you may be to to clean your device all the stuff you don't use on your device. There are a few downloads available like CrackMem that helps make this easy, but this should only be done by experienced users. any damage done to your device would be on you. So, only try this with help or if you know what you're doing. It can be effective if done correctly. I currently have 23 apps on my Bold 9000 and still have 34 MB free on the device after a good clean of Voice Activated Dialing, etc. that I don't use.
