it was just for developers to register their apps. the real app store isn't out yet.

The announcement's wording was awkward. I believe Tues/4 10*pm was when users would be able to sign up for e-mail notification of App World going live. How will you know when the flag goes up? Around April 1, when you wake up and find a shiny new AppWorld button on your Storm.

yeah its just another "coming soon" thing. hopefully with the next OS update they will have the App world ready.

Well, I wouldn't say we got hosed. This was never supposed to be anything more than the formal opening for developers and to allow end users to register to be notified when the App World is available.

It's amazing how many ppl didn't read the threads and thought the App World was opening. Simply amazing.

This is available right now. You have to do it on your computer with your storm connected. I am guessing it would be the same for any of the other Blackberries. Here is the link.

I'm loading the App to my Storm right now. But, it is taking a long time so, not sure if its working properly. I'll post once its done (crossing fingers)

Also, I got the link from the Blackberry App Team. I signed up for updates.

Well, boys and girls, I have been sitting here with the download window saying "Please wait while BlackBerry App World is loaded on your device..." And, its still at 0% after 15-20 mins. Either its stuck due to so much activity or it just doesn't work.

If anything changes, I'll let everyone know.
