I am currently in the process of switching to a new device while I wait for my new phone I have "downgraded" to an old but faithful BlackBerry Pearl 8120. The new Twitter for BlackBerry doesn't work with anything Before OS 4.6 or 5.0 so I'm out of luck there. I cannot find an OTA link for any of the earlier versions of Twitter For BlackBerry. If there is anyone out there using Twitter for BlackBerry on a device that is still running 4.5 and can help PLEASE let me know!
P.S I am not an Uber Social Fan... its killing me!!
If I go to the link you gave me it tells me that it will only work on devices running 4.6 and higher. Where as if I check the main Twitter App page on Blackberry.com it says the app would work with any device running 4.5 or later. I haven't tried app world. I will attempt that in a few minutes. My only gripe is having to download app world and then having to remove it. ( I am not that big on apps, games or themes).
