When I try to download it from the bold, my browser isn't identified as a blackberry device (even though the settings match) and when I try to download it with the USB cable it says my device isnt supported, even though I have 4.6

    Thanks

Choose getting the link sent to a email account associated with your device and download it from the link they send you... That's what I did....

    WTF??
When I click the appworld, a message appears "Upgrade your service plan that includes and discover a world of possibilities at BlackBerry App World. Contact your service provider for more details."

vodafone said they have nothing to do with it as it is not launched by them! Anyone have any idea?

I get "Sorry your device does not meet the system requirements.....". It's a Bold for pity's sake, if that doesn't meet 'em what does? Wondering now if it's an Orange issue. Will phone them and report back.

I thought I would see how the bold users are going with this, obviously you are having same issues as us Jav users. See this thread http://forums.crackberry.com/f100/bl...-world-195837/
This is looking like very much carrier specific issues, as it says on the RIM site "may not be available on all networks"

BlackBerry Device Software version 4.2 or higher
BlackBerry smartphones with trackballs or SurePress™ touch screen
BlackBerry App World is only available to customers in US, Canada and UK and may not be available on all networks

Just checked with Orange and they have had a few cals from people unable to load the storefront, but they don't know why and are trying to contact RIM to find out. As far as they are concerned it should work on Orange in the UK.
