Ok, posting in hope that someone can help solve my AppWorld problem.
So here's the problem, my 8520 is running 5.0.0.681 (Platform 5.2.0.67) and according to RIM, AppWorld is available to devices running v4.5 and higher. Since updating to OS5 recently I've been unable to download the AppWorld app, I've tried downloading via the phone Browser (with browser ID set to Blackberry) and have tried the download via PC but keep getting told 'Sorry, your device does not meet the system requirements that are needed to support BlackBerry App World.' I've looked at the applications list and its there and even downloaded an earlier version (1.0.0.30) which seems to have installed but is nowhere to be found!
There have been a tremendous amount of problems with the App World in the past several days. Try searching...there are probably a hundred threads already with app world issues. But, at this point I think it's just RIM's issue.
