I got the app error 523 reset, but I'm across the country visiting my parents so I dont have access to my blackberry software. I called my service provider, but they told me to get on the computer and try to fix it before they would take the next step. I even explained that I wasnt going to have acces to that for another month and a half. I need my phone to work, because my husband is overseas and that is the only number he has to call me on! Please tell me there is something I can do!

Download the DM from blackberry.com and then download the OS you need from here.

yeah I do, but it doesnt have the bb software on it

You can download what you need. Go to blackberry.com and download DM version 4.5 or 4.6

then whatever OS for your device from the stickys at the top of this forum.

NP, if you have any issues reloading, just post back, youll get it going again, you may have to wait till you are home to restore from a previous back up before it crapped out on you but at least youll have a phone for the hubby to call you on
