When accessing the app, it requests permission to access phone files, should I select "Allow"?

Yes, you need this to be able to save and even play the game.

I initially chose Deny. How do I go back and change this setting?

In Permissions, Connection and Interaction are set to Custom. Do I change one or both to Allow?

GH III is ok for $10 from BB App World although no a very long play list as with Wii but this may be in part due to the fact that I have not played it alot.

I still need an answer to the application permissions question. One of the opening pages in the game announces or refers to the player as a guest. Is this related or part of the game?

I wouldn't be concerned about it for this app. You just have to use your own judgment. I don't have any sensitive info on my phone, and I know how to reload the OS, so I don't worry too much about it. I also try and only use apps that come well recommended.
