We were making our Holiday trek up to New England and decided to pit BB Traffic against a dedicated Garmin GPS device. We pretty much knew the route the Garmin would take us on since we've made it before. So this time we decided to follow Ms. Traffic's advice but compare it to the Garmin's. Well, going through NYC, Ms. Traffic had a few shortcuts that the Garmin never told us about. I suspect she cut a good half hour off the trip.

I've loved with BB Traffic ever since the big update earlier this year. Now I love it even more.

Interestingly, this is not the first time I've done a comparison between BB Traffic and a dedicated GPS. I've also done a shorter smackdown with a TomTom. I was surprised how different the routing was between the two, especially since BB Traffic is based on TomTom technology. Again, though, BB Traffic won.

Very nice. I'm definitely a BB traffic fan. I use it all the time.
