I use Google Voice, and have twice activated the VM feature, which is essentially just using *72 to forward to my Google phone number. Unfortunately, when a call went to VM, although I got the transcribed message, I could never listen to the recorded message from my Tour. After clicking on "play message" in the email on the phone, the media player would open and say that it was buffering, but it was in an infinite loop, and never allowed me to listen to the message. I could hear the message in GMail on my desktop, but not if I had corrupted it by trying to listen on the phone. So I have deactivated GVM for now, until I figure out what I am doing wrong. Verizon Visual VM will be fine until I do figure it out.
