I tried to download google voice for the storm 2 and it tells me the device isnt supported!!! omg i live off of google voice. any body else experience this ? is there a way around it ???
When I transfered everything to my new S2 the google voice app transfered also and all I had to do was just login. just tried it out by calling my gv # from another phone and it went right through just like it always does...

so you restored the backup file from your old berry to the storm 2 ??
bump... Not able to download GV on blackberry Storm2. Get "Device Not Supported" message. I also tried m.google.com/search, and it just takes me to the search page, I cant download the google mobile app.
you can trick the mobile site by setting your browser to firefox (browser options > browser configuration > browser identification) and then go to m.google.com
Until google adds the 9550/9520 to compatibility list, this will allow for OTA install. Otherwise you can install from a backup.
1. Open the web browser.
2. Click the Menu key then Options.
3. Click Browser Configuration and change the Browser Identification to Internet Explorer (may also work with Firefox)
4. Press the Escape key and click Save.
5. Browse to m.google.com/voice again and you should now be able to install
i was able to get the google voice on my storm 2 .. ( run ur desktop manager and go to transfer old bb to new bb and only choose transfer ) it will transfer everything from old to new bb .. including 3rd party apps
