    probably a dumb question but I had to ask anyway.

    you can buy invites from ebay for like 2 bucks... i had to get both of my google voice numbers from my ex.... we thought about marketing the idea on ebay... but they are everywhere for $2.... small price to pay over the wait...

    Go to settings you'll see it under caller id

    make sure you're calling from the GV app of course.....if you're calling normally you're calling from your original number not the GV one....
