I have a new Curve and I've downloaded google talk but it won't let me log in saying my uid/pw is invalid. I know that its correct since its the same I used to connect to my gmail. I've read that you need to append @gmail.com to your userid but this didn't work either. Any thoughts?

Try a battery pull as this fixes 99% of strange problems. If not uninstall the app and then reinstall..

Sometimes the first letter in my password gets capitalized. Just type the first letter and delete it to see if that might help you out.
