After trying gsync, and having it destroy my recurring and multiday appointments, I gave it up. However, does the Contacts part of the sync work well, and do the contact groups sync or not?

Sorry you had such issues with the Calendar sync, I really like it. The forums were a big help in getting it to cooperate with me, but now I love it! That contacts sync works well, but it does not transfer your groups.

Thanks - which forums? The google forums confirmed that there are bugs in the recurring appointment and multiday appointment syncs
